A Wee Cloud Without Tears
Once upon a time in the bright blue sky, there was a tiny, white cloud named Nimbus. Now, Nimbus enjoyed watching all the other clouds puffy and gray drift by, {sobbing{ their tears as rain down below. But Nimbus? Well, he just couldn't make his raindrops. He tried and tried with all his might, but no matter how hard he concentrated, not even a small sprinkle would come out.
The other clouds giggled because they thought it was so funny. They'd tease him mercilessly "Look at Nimbus, he can't even cry!" Nimbus felt so sad. He wanted to be able to cry too, but it just wouldn't happen.
One day, a wise old cloud named Cumulus saw Nimbus sitting alone, his little face drooping. "Why the long face, little one?" inquired Cumulus. Nimbus told him about his problem with Cumulus, and the wise old cloud smiled gently. "There's more than one way to be helpful, Nimbus," he said. "You may not be able to cry, but you can shine brightly."
Nimbus thought about this for a moment. He realized that Cumulus was right. He didn't have to cry to be useful. From that day on, Nimbus tried his best to cheer everyone up. He would create amazing patterns in the sky, making people smile below. And though he never learned to cry, Nimbus found his own special way to be part of the world.
